The film received a limited theatrical release and national broadcast on PBS. It also gave Open Pollinated Productions its name.

UNDERSEA

Based on the novel The Atlantis Twins by M.S. Kaminsky

Undersea is a coastal-gothic supernatural mystery set in the summer of 1995, where teenage grief, queer identity, small-town secrets and an increasingly impossible ocean collide.

The project is being developed as a hybrid AI proof of concept, combining AI-generated actors and environments, motion-background compositing, animation and selective live-action production.

An exploration of the invisible ecosystem within us, from the microbiome and gut-brain connection to that mysterious human impulse we call intuition.

Originally conceived as a traditional documentary, Gut Instinct is being reimagined as a hybrid short using emerging visual tools to venture into places the camera alone cannot see.

The existing trailer reflects the documentary’s earlier direction; the AI-assisted short is still in development.
